West Meadow

We make music, record records & play shows.

About Us

West Meadow was formed in 2017 when singer/songwriter Philip Wesle teamed up with bassist Jordan Bell. They released their first single in early February 2018. “That Girl”, a folk/pop song Philip wrote while living in Vancouver, is a heartfelt expression of true love. They released their debut EP “West Meadow” on April 1, 2018, a collection of songs Philip describes as “...thoughtfully selected diary entries from his travels.” It’s an intimate portrayal of a young mans’ struggle to understand his purpose on Earth. Soon after releasing their EP, they released their music video “Intuition”, written and directed by Philip Wesle and Holly Ketter. Holly has been working with the band as a co-producer and pianist.

When drummer Brandon Martwig joined the band early 2019 and they decided to release a single, the question was 'what song to release?' The answer came when Mitch Hawkins (friend of the bands) and Philip Wesle (singer) wrote a music video for the song Overthinking It.

After filming, editing, recording, mixing and sending their single off to mastering they're ready to share it. Find the music video below and get the single everywhere you buy/stream music on October 31 2019.

Philip, Jordan, Holly and Brandon are currently writing more singles. Like many of us, they're all experiencing big changes in their lives. Incorporating elements of R&B, Funk and Hip Hop, in their new sound reflects their eclectic tastes in music and evolution as a band.
